We are expecting two or three short-term positions between September 2013 and April 2014. Scholars (both senior and junior) can plan to spend a month or more in Montreal pursuing their research. Scholars who are on sabbatical and wish to spend a semester can also apply. The scholar will be provided office space, accommodation, economy airfare, per diem and if funds allow, an honorarium.&amp;nbsp; Scholars with additional personal resources can spend longer term in residence. The successful candidate should have completed a PhD in Canadian Politics and/or Public Policy. The appointee will teach six undergraduate courses over the fall and spring terms (September to April). The journal appears three times per year and has a broad focus on issues of Political Studies and IR relevant for all developing regions of the world.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ensure academic quality and currency of the journal; maintain and increase the international stature of the journal through inclusion in journal indices, databases and aggregators; plan and supervise the production of a theme-based special issue every year; solicit and vet scholarly submissions; determine two peer reviewers for each article; oversee the processes of revisions based on reviewer feedback; follow strict time lines for the production of three issues per year; submit feedback in the form of quarterly reports to the SAAPS Council.&lt;/p&gt;
