The 15th annual conference of the European Political Science Association will take place from June 26-28 June in Madrid, Spain at the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M - Puerta de Toledo campus). We invite paper submissions that represent the state of the art in political science and that focus on any substantive area of politics.
Proposals can be submitted via https://coms.app/epsa2025/welcome.html (you will need to create a new account). We recommend submitting in good time as submissions after the deadline will not be considered.
Proposal Submission Deadline: 18 December 2024.
Please consider submitting your paper in one of our 18 divisions, which this year include several new divisions:
- Comparative Politics of High-income Countries - Aina Gallego;
- Comparative Politics of Low and Middle-Income Countries - Miguel Rueda;
- European Politics - Adriana Bunea;
- Formal Political Theory - Tara Slough;
- International Relations - Anna Getmansky;
- Party Politics - Oda Nedregård;
- Electoral and Voting Behaviour - Miguel Pereira;
- Gender and Politics - Silvia Claveria;
- Political Economy - Irene Menendez Gonzalez;
- Political Methodology - Tom Robinson;
- Political Representation and Electoral Systems - Julia Payson;
- Public Opinion - Lauren Young;
- Political Communication - Constantine Broussalis;
- Public Policy and Administration - Gloria Gennaro;
- Migration Politics - Ilona Lahdelma;
- Conflict, Violence and Security - Niloufer Siddiqui;
- Experimental Research - Kristin Michelitch;
- Legislative Politics - David Fortunato.
Proposals for pre-organized panels are also welcome. Proposals should be submitted to the same “track” with a panel abbreviation added to the paper title with a request made by panel organisers before the submission deadline.
As always, we expect participants to contribute to the success of the conference by serving as chairs or discussants.
Madrid, cheerful and sunny, is famous for being an open city. Boasting not only lively streets, world class restaurants and unbeatable nightlife, but also renowned museums and tranquil historic spots, Madrid is, without a doubt, one of Europe’s best cities.
