The Call for Papers for IPSA’s 75th Anniversary Conference Extended to 14 December

The International Political Science Association (IPSA) will celebrate its 75th Anniversary in 2024 and will hold two anniversary conferences, first in Montreal from 25-26 April 2024 and second in Lisbon from 11-13 September 2024. IPSA will organize the first anniversary conference in partnership with Concordia University and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) Canada, and in collaboration with the Canadian Political Science Association (CPSA) and the Société québécoise de science politique (SQSP) on the theme Challenges and New Directions in Multi-Level Governance at Concordia University in Montreal from 25-26 April 2024.
Call for Papers Extended to 14 December
The call for papers for the conference has been extended to 14 December 2023. Papers on any subject related to multi-level governance are welcome. While the emphasis is on current challenges and new directions in multi-level governance, we will also accept papers on the study of federalism, decentralization, regional and international organizations, political structures, national and transnational social movements, and political actors.

Reduced Fee for IPSA, CPSA and SQSP Members
Registration will open on 25 January 2024. IPSA, CPSA and SQSP members will benefit from a reduced registration fee, and student members of all three associations can attend FREE OF CHARGE.
Important Dates
- 14 December 2023: Deadline to submit a paper proposal
- 25 January 2024: Acceptance or rejection notifications (sent by email to individuals who submitted a paper proposal)
- 22 March 2024: Deadline to register for the conference
- 17 April 2024: Deadline to submit a paper.
