IPSA Welcomes the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA)

We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) has joined IPSA as a member organization.

The PPSA's candidacy was warmly recommended by the Committee on Participation and Membership during the last IPSA Executive Committee meeting (No. 130) in Naples (Italy) on April 13-14, 2019. The Executive Committee later formally accepted PPSA’s candidacy.

The PPSA became the 59th country member of IPSA, and will be a voting member at the next IPSA Council, to be held in conjunction with the 2020 World Congress of Political Science in Lisbon, Portugal.

IPSA warmly welcomes PPSA and extends its best wishes for success to political scientists in the Philippines.
