IPSAMOOCs Now Available on Coursera
Publication date: Tue, 20 Jun 2023
We are pleased to announce that a new, revised version of the IPSAMOOCs program is now available on Coursera, the world's leading MOOC platform, with over 120 million learners worldwide. This new development follows the tremendous success of the XSeries program in English and Spanish, which has attracted over 96,000 enrollments from 190 countries.
The first IPSAMOOCs courses are already available on Coursera, with more to come in the near future. Current courses include:
- Understanding Political Concepts;
- Comparative Political Systems;
- Comparative Research Designs and Methods;
- Global politics
- Introduccion à la teoria politica
The courses will still be available on the edX platform, but the new release on Coursera will be an opportunity to bring the courses to new audiences and stimulate new training projects.
The adaptation of IPSAMOOCs for Coursera was made possible by the dedicated efforts of teaching assistants from the Social Sciences Department of the University of Naples Federico II and a group of instructional designers from Federica Weblearning. The re-editing process for Coursera improves the learning experience, encourages greater interaction with the content, and ensures high-quality educational input.
