Climate Change and Security Shift in the Arctic and Beyond

This panel is about the theme of changing climate in the Arctic region and its security implications, both within the Arctic Circle and outside of it. The participants will discuss about the rapidly changing strategic assessments of Russia, USA, Canada, NATO and other Arctic Circle nations, as well as formation of national strategies in China, South Asia, Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. There are increasing expectations that melting ice in the North is going to have wide security implications in many countries, including those in the Global South.
