On October 20, 2024, Ms. Gun Huh ( 1909-2024) was named a winner of Jungsook Choi Chung's Prize (1902-1979) who not only participated in Korea March 1st Independent Movement in 1919 but aslo contributed establishing Jeju Island Education as a President of Jeju Special Self Education in 1940's. In addition, she is the first female medical doctor who had made a welfare service for Jeju islanders. Ms. Huh went to Japan Osaca making money working at a small sewing factory for 1with their villagers of Seoho munisipality in 1920'( 1923- 2029). Even though she was young (14 years old), she was excellent leadership with good Janpanese. So, she received salery three times more rather than peers. When back to Jeju island, she had run a bisiness sell medical herbs, mandarins and vegetables to mainland Korea from 1930 to 1970. In 1975, she established Samsung Girls High School at Seogwipo city with full donations of all property in the name of 4 sons because she recognized some rich people didn't invest their money for education. That's why she got the prize. We evaluate her educational achivements in island area in East Asia. Potentially, we call it Asia Jeju Education Model for Sustainable Development UNESCO emphasizes. She left last words for her son that 'I wish you try to establish university if you can do it for Korea Jeju island overcoming catastrophe losing intelligent youth during Jeju 4.3 Tragedy(1947-1954).
