Description

Despite the ever-reoccurring lament that public policy and public administration research mutually profit not only from an active academic exchange but that the research agendas are inherently intertwined, dividing lines between the two fields persist, or are explicitly addressed as an area of overlapping research interest. RC 30 on public policy and RC 32 on Public Policy and Administration offer this joint panel as platform for innovative studies that focus on Policymaking and administration in a comprehensive and interlinked manner. We invite papers that link research interests, methodologies and agendas of the two sub-fields. Both conceptual and empirical papers that bridge the PP and PA divide are welcome. The panel has no specific regional or thematic focus, papers are selected by merit of linking generic Public Policy and Public Administration research.
