The 16th Spanish Political Science Congress

The 16th Spanish Political Science Congress (XVI Congreso AECPA) will be hosted by the University of Girona, on September 7-9, 2022, under the overall theme "Political Science Facing New Global Challenges".

The purpose of the XVI AECPA Congress is to bring together researchers to encourage scientific and professional cooperation between academics, specialists and students, so it will be organized around nine scientific areas focusing on specific issues:

• Political Theory
• Political Structures and Institutions
• Political Actors
• Political Behaviour and Political Communication
• Public Management and Public Policies
• International and Regional Studies
• Gender and Politics
• Intelligence and Strategic Analysis
• Teaching Innovation

The areas will be organized into panels. We invite you to propose papers. 

Papers Submission Guidelines

Proposals should only be submitted online at AECPA’S website, including:

• Paper title, author, university/professional affiliation; 
• 10-lines abstract;
• 5-lines biographical note of the authors;
• 5 keywords.

If your abstract proposal is accepted, you will be asked to submit the full paper.

• 28 March 2022: Abstract Submission Deadline
• 29 April 2022: Abstract Acceptance
• 3 May 2022: Early Bird Registration
