The American Political Science Association invites proposals for the 121st APSA Annual Meeting & Exhibition, September 11–14, 2025, held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to address the latest scholarship in political science.

Theme Statement: Reimagining Politics, Power, and Peoplehood in Crisis Times

Writing in The Souls of Black Folk, W.E.B. DuBois famously opined that the problem of the 20th century was the problem of the color line. Today, while problems associated with racial identity remain salient, divisions based on partisanship, ideology, ethnicity, gender, nation, class, religion, and generation have also come to define the polarization we see in public opinion, political behavior, and governing institutions across the globe.

Submit Your Proposals Now!

APSA and the 2025 program co-chairs, Tatishe Nteta, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Christian Dyogi Phillips, University of Southern California, look forward to your participation in panels and sessions prepared by APSA’s divisions and numerous related groups.

The submission deadline is Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
