Theme: From Ideas to Impact: Exploring Public Policy Processes
In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, crafting effective public policy requires not only innovative ideas but also a deep understanding of the processes that translate these ideas into measurable impact. The inaugural "Policy Workshop”, themed "From Ideas to Impact: Exploring Public Policy Processes” is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and skills to effectively navigate the complex pathways of policy-making. Each stage in the policy cycle brings distinct challenges and opportunities, and this workshop addresses these aspects in a well-structured, interactive format to ensure comprehensive learning. The emerging policy makers, researchers, community leaders, and engaged citizens can participate in this workshop to explore the art and science of public policy.
The Policy Workshop, scheduled on December 10, 2024, is a collaborative event organized by Research Committee 48 (Administrative Culture) of the International Political Science Association (IPSA), the Water Policy Center, India, and hosted at the Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad. The workshop will be concentrating on the following key themes:
- Policy Formulation in the Age of Data
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaborative Governance
- Challenges in Policy Implementation
- Evaluation and Accountability in Public Policy
- Innovation and Adaptation in Policy Making
The organizers invite participation/abstract from the scholars to participate in the “Policy Workshop” to be conducted in hybrid mode with experienced academicians, policy makers and experts in public policy.
Registration: There is no registration fee for the participants. If you would like to attend and speak at the upcoming policy workshop, please send your abstract of 200-250 words latest by 20th November 2024 and register yourself at LINK. Certificate will be provided to all the participants.
Hospitality & Financial Support: The organizers will support partial travel expenses to the selected paper presenters from SAARC countries. The organizers will provide meals and in-house accommodation for two nights and one day during the workshop.
City Tour: A city tour will be arranged for those who are interested upon prior request and payment of the requisite fee.
