IPSA Expands Presentation Language Options for the 2025 World Congress
Publication date: Wed, 09 Oct 2024
IPSA is pleased to introduce a new policy for the IPSA World Congress of Political Science, allowing paper givers to present in languages other than English and French, the official IPSA languages.
To foster greater inclusivity and enrich academic discussions, IPSA now allows delegates in closed panels to present orally in other languages, provided all panel members agree. This initiative is part of IPSA’s ongoing commitment to promote global cooperation and diversify academic dialogue at the IPSA World Congress. The new policy provides opportunities for collaboration among scholars who share both research interests and a common language.
Those interested in orally presenting a paper or organizing a closed panel in another language can use the language matching tools to find other potential participants with similar interests.
