IPSA Secretariat Welcomes Stephanie Doughty as World Congress and Event Assistant

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Doughty as the new World Congress and Event Assistant. Stephanie will assist the World Congress team and contribute to the organization of IPSA events.

After completing her political science honour’s degree at Concordia University in 2012, she went on to complete an education degree from McGill University in 2016. Most recently, she completed a master’s degree in political science from Concordia University, with a focus on public health policy.

Stephanie has worked for several companies and educational institutions. More recently, she gained experience in event planning and volunteer organization through Concordia University, thereby broadening her work expertise. More recently, she dedicated much of her time to social justice and volunteer pursuits, with a primary focus on speaking to students in high school, CEGEP, and university about third-world debt, and on tutoring refugee children. 

A passionate language enthusiast, Stephanie speaks English, French and Spanish, with a desire to rekindle her basic knowledge of Russian. One day, she hopes to learn Arabic. In her downtime, Stephanie enjoys travelling, reading, and outdoor recreation activities, such as kayaking or canoeing.
