The Electoral Integrity Project, Global Integrity and Sunlight recently released the results of a new project on money, politics and transparency.
The website provides a rich set of resources intended for stakeholders working to improve political finance systems in their respective countries, including statistical indicators covering more than 50 countries, analysis of selected case studies on political financing practices, and global transparency principles for monitoring political financing.
The research will be used for an upcoming book entitled Checkbook Elections, Political Finance in Comparative Perspective and co-edited by Pippa Norris, Andrea Abel van Es and Lisa Fennis.
