Statement from the International Political Science Association (IPSA) on the Current Situation in Gaza

Following the statement issued earlier this week, the International Political Science Association (IPSA) expresses deep concern over the extremely dangerous situation in Gaza that has unfolded in the wake of recent events in the region. IPSA acknowledges the complexities and challenges surrounding this crisis, but our organization condemns all sorts of violence on the population.

We urge all parties involved to implement International Law conflict resolution mechanisms to address the current situation. The well-being and safety of the civilian population, Palestinian and Israeli, is of paramount importance, and we call for a peaceful and lasting solution that ensures the human rights, dignity, and security of all people living in the affected areas. 

IPSA remains committed to supporting efforts that promote peace, human values, and the principles of democracy in regions experiencing conflict. We encourage the international community to work together to find constructive solutions to the challenges faced in the region, ultimately aiming for a stable and prosperous future for all parties involved.
